I came across this book recently in a bookstore and while I admit I haven't read it yet, it brings back a conversation I had with A. (part of the inseparable cousinly trio that Gram called Cerberus) at age fourteen or fifteen. We were talking late into the night about life, and I at one point remarked that I would like to learn to be more like a monk, to become wiser and happier I suppose. I couldn't help but smile when I found it, and sent a picture to A. straightaway--there are always like-minded people to be found in this world.
